The Grove Vegetarian Dining

The luxury Grove hotel, set in the rolling hills of Narberth in Pembrokeshire, not only is an outstandingly beautiful country hotel providing tranquillity and outstanding luxury, but the food is absolutely exquisite. The vegetarian menus and food options have been crafted to perfection and on a par with the regular non-vegetarian offerings. At the Grove you will not find that Goats cheese, lentils or mushrooms have been used to pad out the menu but infact time, effort and thought has been consumed in presenting a fine palette of flavours relationships and presentations from predominantly the humble vegetable.

The Artisan Rooms

Food at The Grove is sourced locally and inspired by the best of Welsh ingredients and served in a variety of environments from breakfast in the bright and airy garden terrace rooms, lunch or a relaxed dinner in the Artisan Rooms, drinks and canapes in the cosy bar, an intimate taster and wine flight paired soiree at The Fernery or maybe even an afternoon tea on the lawn. You and your taste buds will be sure to leave The Grove with lasting foodie memories.

Pre-Dinner DrinkS & Canapes

Fancy evenings at The Grove start with drinks and canapés in the cosy atmospheric bar, with comfy seating and a small plates menu.

The Cosy Bar at The Grove

The Grove’s signature summer cocktail came highly recommended by the sommelier – In the Grove Garden, which contains some home-made honey from the resident bees in the garden amongst other things and a perfect pre-dinner Negroni followed by well executed seasonal canapes, one of which was included tapioca.

The Fernery Restaurant

Probably my favourite of all dining experiences at The Grove, there is a special vegetarian pairing menu available in 5, 7 and 10 courses with a carefully selected selection of paired wines.

The Fernery Vegetarian Tasting Menu

The Executive head Chef, Douglas Balish, is inspired by the location of the hotel and its surroundings combining the selection of vegetables and herbs picked daily from the kitchen gardens with a focus on delivering a fine balance of flavours with a. touch of elegance and contemporary clean presentation. It is no wonder The Fernery fine dining restaurant has been awarded 3 AA Rosettes.
